YESTERDAY’S NEWS TOMORROW
I
f you’ve ever wondered what happens when
Italian flair, nautical engineering and “let’s
make waves” all get thrown into the same
cocktail shaker, the Magellano 60 is that drink
served neat.
ULL!
At 18.47 metres long (that’s 60 feet 7 inches for those who
still measure in freedom units) and with three guest cabins
+ 1 crew cabin, this yacht walks a fine line between “proper
party pad” and “grown-up hideout.”
The charm lies in its contradictions. It’s a semi-displacement
“crossover” hull, which basically means it can loaf along
at slow-cruise speeds or push on up to 26 knots when
the horizon comes a calling. Inside, clean lines, light oak
veneers and soft-toned finishes give the salon a subtle,
almost meditative calm-before-the-sunset feel.
Outside? The flybridge, the foredeck terrace and the aft
“infinity-terrace” cockpit are laid out so that wherever you
land, the sea is the view — not a clunky rail or lifebuoy to
remind you you’re on a boat. In other words: minimal fuss,
maximum thrust.
In a season when many of us have spent more time indoors
than we care to admit, the Magellano 60 is the kind of escape
that feels right. Not loud, not flashy, but confident; like a
well-tailored suit or a good drink in a smoky jazz lounge. It
doesn’t shout for attention. It quietly commands it.
So yes: Grab your sea legs and head to the Med!
