MESSAGE FROM THE A-TEAM
Kick up your feet,
top up your mulled wine
and breathe a sigh of
relief. It’s been a year!
While things look less than rosy
in many parts of the world – wars,
famine, rolling blackouts, muppets
as head of state – it is perhaps
time to take a leaf from the book
of our cousins across the Atlantic
and engage in a spot of re昀氀ective
contemplation and the giving
[recognising?] of thanks for what
we have.
On the furniture-industry front as
a whole, we’ve continued to see
innovation lead the way, with certain
brands adopting automotive
business trends [but more
about that later], and a
sustained drive to 昀椀nd planetfriendly sustainable solutions
to furniture production. It takes
vision, and hope, for the future
to recognise what’s wrong or
what can be better and actively
pursuing solutions for it that will
bene昀椀t not just industry, but the
lives of people and the health of our
[only!] planet.
On a more granular level, Après
have been lucky to pick up some big
contracts this year, completing them
successfully and on time. It’s enabled
us to grow the team as we continue
to 昀椀nd and partner with suppliers and
manufacturers who echo our ethos of
sustainable design and production,
while keeping our clients’ needs front
and centre.
We look forward to a small break before
we come back in the new year to do
it all again – but bigger and better in
2024!
